Tis the month for brithday celebrations!

Around this time each year we are always celebrating someone's birthday! It starts with Melissa, mom, me, and then dad. October is normally very stressful because we are running around going to all these different birthday parties for everyone!

So, this year I recommended combining all our birthdays together to celebrate once instead on four times! We did our tradition and celebrated our birthdays at Pappa Bros Steakhouse! Pappa Bros has been in our lives since we could all remember! We always order the same thing each year, and it is better than the last! This year's celebrations had a little twist! Our wine connoisseur introduced us to paint pens! Paint pens are pens you can write a message on glass or other surfaces. So, we took our wine bottles and jotted down a few words to remember this night! Third times a charm, right? Dad and Melissa accidently smeared the writing! We all enjoyed so much memory filled conversations and laughs! We cannot wait until next years celebration!

Dewberry Farm & Pumpkin hunt

Everyone knows Erik and I come from very different backgrounds! You know Erik is a country let's play sports all day and get dirty kind of guy.
Lauren is the city and let's shop and do everything on our life list while taking pictures as we go along kind of girl.

It was Eriks pick for what to do for our date! He chose Dewberry Farm. Can you believe it? A farm! Hmm... not my idea of a date, but ok! As we arrived and saw this sign I knew I was in trouble!

Do you see Erik in a causal outfit, famous baseball cap, tennies, and if you look closely he hasn't shaved!

 Lauren is wearing hair curled and down, cute flashy belt, purse, and of course sunglasses and no tennies!
 I guess I didn't get the memo it was an actual FARM! ugh....
She is not at all prepared for this...

I thought this day in age a farm is a new cool hip word for some ho down get together with A.C., running water, and yes an indoor public bathroom! Boy was I wrong...

At Dewberry Farm there is a lot to do!

• Build your own snowcone with unlimited juice supply(Lauren's favorite)
• LIVE corn maze(Erik's favorite)
• Pick your own pumpkin out!( Lauren & Erik's favorite)
• slide down a PC pipe slide
• Get dirty
• and much much more

The Verdict: Overall, I must admit other than my cute shoes getting filled with dirt and my bottom being in pain from the PC pipe slide it was actually a lot of fun! I would recommend this experience to any other especially the city like people! You appreciate where you live a lot more ;)

Reasons why Bentley should leave...

Remember me?

For all who have forgotten :( I am Cooper! Big Brother to baby Bentley. whew....you would think having a little bro would be fun!Sure, mom mentioned I can't carry him like he's my baby toy or throw him in his water bowl, but he is just so small.

It has been 6 weeks since the fluff guy came home. It is exhausting trying to keep up with him. I am so concerned he will end up in the garbage or get caught in the garage. I am trying to be the big brother, but goodness I need my rest from time to time. I have suggested to mom that we get can a bell for his neck, so I can have a rest when he's on the loose.

Yeah, I have been thinking I don't know if I like a brother hanging around the house. He was fun for a few days, but then he just stares at you with those BIG eyes. I have my reasons for this and I will make note of them at the bottom.
for all who are listening make sure you to tell the mommy and daddy that Cooper is getting easily annoyed and would like some attention and extra dingo bones, please.

Reasons: Baby Brother Bentley should leave...
1) He steals my toys
2) He steals my bones
3) He follows me everywhere I go
4) He is too noisy for me
5) I can't even potty in peace with out him being right under me
6) He makes every inch of my toys and bed a wet pool with his mouth
7) Movie Marathon night is shorten bc Bentley has to potty/play every hour.
8) I have to go to bed earlier
9 I can't remember the last time I watched a movie all the way through w/out pausing it every five secs

Those are my reasons and I am sticking to them!

Bentley's 1st Vet Visit

Meet Doctor Saudorf
Doctor Saudorf has been in my family for 20 plus years! He has taken excellent care of all my four legged pets and creatures! He has such an open and warm heart for animals!

Bentley got introduced to Dr. Saudorf.

Bentley did very well for his first visit. He didn't potty or get scared in anyway. He was so little in Dr.Saudorf's hands. He was weighing in 2.25 lbs.

He was in excellent health and ready for his booster shots.Of course, Bentley didn't really like the whole idea of something going in his mouth or the other area (we wont speak of) for checking to see if he was A okay :) for the Peterson house hold.
