YoYo Night

It is something I like to call "the best thing a wifey can create for fellow wifeys!" No really it is a neat little acronym I created when we first got married. I was tired of cooking all days of the week even God told us to have a day of rest. So, I thought why not have a night of rest for me. After many hours thinking of a really catchy name I came up with YoYo night which means You Are On Your Own:) As I proudly presented this to Erik he swooshed the idea around in his head and agreed that he would be the Sir chef for a night! However, with every good chef is an even greater Chef assistant.

They call themselves the YoYo chefs of the night :) This particular night Chef Erik got his assistant involved with Spaghetti and meatballs in a different way that I would never forget!


Now, this may seem cruel to some of you over achieving wives, but it is a perfect little break for me to put up my apron and proudly hand over the spatula to the hubby and coopey.

My name is Cooper Peterson!

My momma and daddy told me they were creating a blog for our little family to keep record of all that is happening in our lives. Well, momma forgot to post a picture of me on our blog so I thought I would introduce myself to everyone!

My name is Cooper Peterson, and I was born on April 5th, 2009. I met momma in Dallas , Texas on July 8th that same year. I will never forget that car ride because momma was so gentle and soft, and such love filled the car. I loved her from the first moment I saw her, which made me even more excited to meet daddy because I had always heard that behind every great woman, there was an even greater man! We all became a little family that day and there was no going back.

Now, over a year later, I am proud to say that I am fully potty trained, the owner of many small plush toys, and 100% happy to be with my family. Sure I have accidents now and then, and sometimes I eat too fast and end up having to eat again (if you catch my drift), but momma and daddy love to forgive!

I hope you follow and share along the way through all our adventures. I may pop in and out, but momma and daddy will probably be doing most of the blogging!

The Journey Begins...

Recently, Erik and I celebrated our 2 Year Wedding Anniversary! Our first two years were a challenge to say the least, but within those two years we moved into our first home, Erik received his CPA license, I graduated from college, and we added a four legged friend to our household. Cooper, our mini-schnauzer, is the reason I wanted to start a blog so that I could document our little family adventures along the way. We know that God has so many blessings in store for us and can’t wait to see what journey lies ahead.
